THE SCOTT HAMILTON CARES FOUNDATION

The Scott Hamilton CARES Foundation is dedicated to changing the future of cancer by funding advanced, innovative research that treats the cancer while sparing the patient. The foundation supports research that accelerates the advancement of less toxic treatments for isolated cancers and tumors with precision proton beam therapy and prevention of the spread of cancer with targeted immunotherapy drugs. While these forms of treatment are fairly new, thanks to research funding organizations like CARES, they are already becoming the new standard of cancer treatment.

HY-LAKE CHRISTIAN CAMP

When Dustin was growing up, he always looked forward to summer and his time at Hy-Lake Christian Camp.  There, he formed some very special friendships over the years and enjoyed the spiritual enrichment aspects of the camp. When he reached the age of 16, he could no longer attend as a camper, so he volunteered to be a camp counselor. One of Dustin's favorite things at camp was the Talent Show, where he enjoyed sharing his great drumming skills.  As a tribute to Dustin, The Foundation has provided funds to build a cottage as a permanent reminder of his time there.
